The most exciting epic swim events in the region will once again hit the shores of the Gold Coast.

Gathering all the finest swimmers in the region and across Australia with the entire community for another excellent sporting action, the Cooly Classic Ocean Swim in Coolangatta will be held on 29 March.

This fun-filled and action-packed ocean swim event will also provide competitors a unique and rare chance to conquer three of the most popular surf breaks in the country such as the Snapper Rocks, Coolangatta and Kirra.

Making the event more fun and exciting, the Cooly Classic Ocean swim will be joined by Olympic Legend, Michael Klim, on the start line for the final event in the Milk and Co Queensland Ocean Swim Series.

The Cooly Classic Ocean Swim is open to everyone be it a professional swimmer seeking the challenging action, or an amateur.

The Cooly Classic 2.0 will have the 2km race as the main event in which competitors will start at the fantastic Snapper Rocks surf break and head on to the coast north going along Rainbow Bay, Greenmount and Coolangatta continuing to the finish line on the spectacular Kirra Beach.

For those who want an easier challenge, they can join the Cooly 1000 challenge wherein they will have to follow the 1km course which starts in Coolangatta to Kirra Beach.

There is also a special event for kids, which is the 300M Kids Surf Dash to provide them a great swimming action.
